FaceTite/AccuTite

FaceTite and AccuTite harness the power of radiofrequency to tighten loose tissues and skin.

These devices are smaller editions of the BodyTite system that have been specially developed to target small, defined areas on the face and neck or other petite areas requiring the utmost precision. In just one treatment, FaceTite or AccuTite can provide significant improvements to the contour of the face and small body areas.

Learn More About FaceTite/AccuTite

Using RFAL technology, FaceTite is arguably the next best thing to a traditional facelift without the associated significant scars and downtime. Therefore, we often recommend FaceTite or Accutite as a facelift alternative. AccuTite can target even smaller areas for more refined tightening and lifting, such as the brows, eyelids, laugh lines, or minimally invasive labia reduction.

Good candidates for FaceTite and AccuTite typically have mild to moderate signs of aging. The treatment is best for overall healthy patients with good skin elasticity. During a detailed consultation, we will analyze your skin condition and concerns to determine if FaceTite is right for you. For more severe aging problems, alternative or additional treatments may be necessary.

We often recommend FaceTite and AccuTite for improving the following concerns:

  • Forehead
  • Eyebrows
  • Eye bags
  • Laugh Lines
  • Jowls
  • Turkey Neck
  • Small pockets of fat or loose skin on the body

FaceTite and AccuTite are powered by directional radiofrequency energy that delivers three-dimensional tissue remodeling by heating collagen and coagulating fat. The coagulation of fat using RF-induced heat results in radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis (RFAL) – killing fat simultaneously as it tightens the fascia and tissues between and around the fat cells.

This treatment differentiates itself from other RF devices because the radiofrequency is delivered directionally through the skin from the inside out instead of just over the skin. This means that heat energy transfer across the skin is precisely controlled, allowing for measurable improvements in skin tightness as collagen shrinks when heated. The result is smoother, firmer skin with reduced wrinkles and skin laxity.

The FaceTite and AccuTite devices feature a thin probe inserted beneath the skin and a head that passes above the skin. Bipolar, directional energy flows between these two electrodes, passing through the fibers that give your tissues structure and shape. The RF energy causes these connective tissues to shrink and contract.

FaceTite and Liposuction

We often combine FaceTite, AccuTite, or BodyTite with liposuction for several reasons. When liposuction removes fat from underneath the skin, those tissues now have less underlying support where the fat used to be, causing them to sag.

By causing contraction and tightening of the underlying network of connective tissue, the BodyTite and FaceTite systems help to combat skin sagging after lipo procedures. Additionally, the RFAL technology kills fat cells as it interacts with them, and liposuction will suck out those dead fat cells, helping your body to clear them out of your system so you can see results faster.

Like liposuction, the treatment requires small incisions, making it a surgical procedure. However, FaceTite and AccuTite are minimally invasive with virtually no downtime and may require only numbing injection and no anesthesia, depending on whether it is coupled with other procedures. When accompanied by liposuction, the FaceTite handpiece can use the same small incisions, numbing, and anesthesia as the liposuction procedure.

After you have received numbing anesthesia and are comfortable, your surgeon will make a tiny incision in the treatment area to insert a probe. An electrode that passes over the skin will interact with this probe to generate radiofrequency energy, contracting the skin. If liposuction is included, your surgeon will insert a thin cannula to suction out the fat.

Depending on the size of your treatment area, more than one incision may be needed. These small incisions should heal without visible scarring. A typical FaceTite or AccuTite procedure takes one to two hours.

Even when coupled with liposuction, FaceTite procedures have very minimal downtime. Patients can return home shortly after the procedure since there is only local anesthesia and light sedation. Most patients can be back at work three to four days later

Swelling and bruising are normal after FaceTite or AccuTite. These typically fade after a week, though it may take longer if liposuction is included. You can resume most activities, including exercise, after one week. After RFAL treatments, patients must wear a discreet compression garment under their clothes for around six weeks to achieve maximal results.

How quickly you see results and how dramatic they are will depend on your customized treatment. FaceTite and AccuTite treatments work partially by prompting new collagen production. This process takes time, so full results appear gradually over several weeks. However, the RF energy also causes existing collagen to contract, yielding some skin-tightening benefits within a week of treatment.

When FaceTite is combined with liposuction, the fat reduction will be immediately visible, though it may be partially obscured by swelling. You’ll see optimal slimming results from liposuction after several weeks. The final results from Accutite and FaceTite are best appreciated after approximately four months.

The skin-tightening benefits of FaceTite typically last a few years. Proper skincare and avoiding sun exposure can help preserve your results, as can skin rejuvenation treatments like microneedling or chemical peels. Excess fat is permanently removed if you undergo liposuction, offering lasting results.
