A DiamondGlow® facial is uniquely customizable, making it a beneficial treatment for almost anyone. Whether your skin is dry, oily, sensitive, mature, or acne-prone, the treatment can be tailored to suit your needs. Six different diamond tips can be used with the DiamondGlow® handpiece for exfoliation. You can also choose from multiple serums that target specific concerns, like wrinkles or hyperpigmentation.

The DiamondGlow® device utilizes a patented 3-in-1 process that simultaneously exfoliates, extracts, and infuses condition-specific serums. The system times the serum infusion perfectly with exfoliation, allowing your skin to absorb the serum with maximum benefit. 

Though DiamondGlow® is most often used as a facial, its benefits don’t stop there. DiamondGlow® BODY is a comprehensive full-body treatment that utilizes the technology and Pro-Infusion serums to deliver a simultaneous body polish, vacuum massage, and serum injection. This process addresses both the outer skin layers and the deeper layers of skin where long-term damage may lie.

DiamondGlow® Pro-Infusion Serums

The scientifically designed Pro-Infusion serums are the heart of the DiamondGlow® process, and unlike other serums, Pro-Infusion serums are designed to target individual conditions instead of general skin health. Every individual receives a customized DiamondGlow® program that addresses the specific concerns particular to their body, avoiding “generalized” treatments that may not produce such remarkable improvements in skin quality.

The Pro-Infusion serum options by SkinMedica® are:

  • Vitamin C to even skin tone and boost collagen
  • TNS® Advanced+ for signs of aging like wrinkles and sagging skin

During your consultation, you and your provider will select the best diamond tip and serum for your skin and discuss how many sessions you will need and additional treatment options. Many patients love DiamondGlow® as a standalone boost to their skincare routine or as a way to enhance and preserve the results of skin resurfacing or laser treatments.

Your DiamondGlow® facial will be a quick, easy “lunch break” procedure. A facial typically takes 30 minutes or less, but a body treatment may take longer. You won’t need any topical numbing cream, and most patients find the process comfortable. Your provider will use the DiamondGlow® handpiece to exfoliate your skin with a diamond tip, clear your pores with suction, and infuse your skin with the chosen serum.

As it is non-invasive, there is no downtime associated with DiamondGlow®. You can resume your usual activities immediately. Some patients have minor redness or sensitive skin, which should subside in a day or two. You can cover up redness with makeup if needed. Be sure to limit sun exposure and apply sunscreen to protect your skin as it heals.

Dr. Rapaport’s team will give you aftercare instructions. Since DiamondGlow® is a gentle treatment, patients typically have little to no side effects. Another of our popular facials with no downtime is the HydraFacial®.

We typically recommend four to six DiamondGlow® sessions every two weeks for optimal results, followed by occasional maintenance treatments as needed.
