Endoscopic
Brow Lift Plastic Surgery (Browlift) Plastic Surgery
Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, David
P. Rapaport, MD, is one of Manhattan, New York's leading plastic
surgeons and commonly performs the endoscopic brow lift
plastic surgery procedure. A brow lift, also called a
forehead lift or eyebrow lift, corrects the skin wrinkling
and loss of tone that causes sagging of eyebrows and hooding
of upper eyelids. A brow lift softens the deep creases
across your forehead. It reduces horizontal frown lines at
the top of your nose and vertical lines between your brows.
The result is a more relaxed and refreshed appearance. An
endoscopic brow lift is the only plastic surgery procedure
that can increase the distance from the lateral brow to the
upper eyelashes.
An endoscopic brow lift or minimal incision forehead lift or
brow lift has become a popular procedure in the past
few years. With this procedure, the positioning of the
eyebrows can be equalized and what appears to be a tired,
sad, or angry look can be dramatically softened. This
procedure is usually combined with division of the glabellar
muscles, which are the muscles that cause the scowl or frown
lines. The results of the combination of these procedures
are a more aesthetically pleasing brow and a more youthful
appearance. The endoscopic technique allows the procedure to
be performed in a minimally invasive manner.
